Position Overview

As a Project Manager at Mutually Human, you will lead projects across diverse industries, collaborating with engineers and architects to develop innovative technology solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Software Delivery process for our teams and the customer to achieve the project and business goals.
  • Increase visibility to the team and customer on all fronts: scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Timesheet audits, approvals, and ownership of invoicing to ensure accuracy.
  • Function as the main point of contact for our customers and the main point of escalation for our internal teams.
  • Manage the Scrum process to ensure that obstacles are removed, user stories are broken down, and scope is managed in a way that allows for truly Agile engagements.
  • Schedule all important project events and ensure our customers are consistently updated on project and budget progress.
  • Develop and own the timeline for each assigned project.
  • Identification of any deviation of the delivery schedule with plans for issue resolution.
  • Assess and address risks by bringing to the team and customer, as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the Delivery process to drive efficiencies and better interaction between all parties.
  • Contribute to our culture through coaching our teams, communicating truth to our customers, and making sure our development team is delivering every day.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in project management.Someone with experience in managing software projects and understands the Scrum methodology and the ways to leverage this process to ensure customer and team success is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to navigate difficult situations and drive alignment across the teams.
  • Experience in managing people or teams, as the Project Manager will be responsible for coaching the entire team on ways to meet our goals.
  • Someone who loves the culture of a small company and enjoys working on every part of the project management life cycle: project kickoff, execution, testing, and closure.
  • Ability to gather feedback, identify trends, interpret issues, and build back into our procedures for continuous improvement.
  • A desire to learn and share what you’ve learned through a variety of avenues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: teamwork is very important to us.
